But please, mount original red, round, taillights... ;-)

Thanks!

I didn't want to drill extra holes for additional indicators as that would be even less original. For safety I'll keep the LED ones, If I want it to look original I can simply bolt the old ones back on as they use the same holes as the LEDs :)

Your constant concern for my sexuality is endearing, yet rather alarming.

But you already have indicators on the back of the van, on the side panels. Or is that not allowed for the MOT?

I think the problem really for Sam is that, in the UK, most drivers seemingly don't know how to use indicators or even what they are. This causes even more confusion for (newer) BMW and Mercedes drivers.

So, to make it easier for our driving public, Sam has chosen to mount indicators somewhere that people may expect indicators to be!

I think it's probably not a bad idea as I don't think this is going to be a high days and holidays van and will be used on fairly regular basis?

I still think they're f'ugly though!

Ok you've redeemed yourself.

This is exactly my intention. I don't think the 'teddy bear ears' would be clear enough for some thirty something estate agent in an M5. I thought it safer to have indicators where people can see them.

The originals can go straight back on, but I value safety over aesthetics.

What's the point of aesthetics when some twat smashes into you

The idea is that the extra lights will go some way to preventing that occurrence.
