 Re: 1988 2cv D*lly bits and bobs Yeah they all rust there, the rust gets between the two layers of metal and is impossible to get out. Your cars going to rust away just like the rest of ours are. Smear some waxoyl on it to try and slow it down until you get it done properly.

Yes VERY reasonable, and being a true panel beater doent bodge anything!!
Younpay what you get
He charged me 60 big ones to re spray from the bottom of the bootlid down, (and tart it up to remove rust etc)
Cant reccomend him enough!

Re: 1988 2cv D*lly bits and bobs Thanks... May well give him a shout in the New Year. By the way, talking about Birdham, I was told the other day about a P & C down there that's been parked up a while just rotting away- apparently you can't miss it(!)
Pass through Chichester reasonably regularly at weekends- parents live in Fishbourne. Unfortunately that usually means taking wife and three kids with me, which means that we have to take the family car. If it's just me, I'll usually take the Deuche!
