what a drama queen u were told of all the faults prior to buying it mate u could have said piss off its a pile of shite and fucked off back to sussex u could break the bloody thing and sell the parts for more than the £850 quid you paid for it a D*lly -6 months mot on the road £850 quid ff sake stop whinging u dipstick

The manifold is pretty knackered, I'm not sure I've ever seen one like this actuàlly. I'm going to have to replace it but I'm interested in the idea of a brazed repair, what's the manifold made out of?

Some sort of cast ferrous, don't think its important exactly what, you can braze most things, even over the rust to some extent. I would have said weld it but there's the risk of spatter going down the exhaust port.

I've got some nickel rods for cast iron, I might have a go with them. I wonder if you'd get spatter down in the heads if the engine was running?
