You're going to have to develop a significantly thicker skin, mate, if the ups and downs of doing that up aren't going to get you seriously pissed off and diving for the can of unleaded & matches... There's a lot of pics there of some serious skip-fodder panels - but not so many of the important structural bits. What's the chassis like? Toeboards? Floors & sills? Rear seat box? Get those seats & mats out, give it a good sweep out, and piccies!

Adrian, maybe best not to mention those buckled A panels, then. They might just be indicators of what lies beneath... ken. toomany2cvs wrote: There's a lot of pics there of some serious skip-fodder panels - but not so many of the important structural bits.

Re: Celeste Blue D reg / now with pictures
Right, Nice to be back everyone. I started stripping out my 2cv to see what really lies beneath the rust, dirt, socks and yoghurt lids. Yes believe it or not all of those were uncovered. Right got you all some colour photos of what been happening recently. I got down and dirty scraching of the paint and rust. Well i decided to get another LH floor well as the previous welding looks like it was done by an 8 yr old affraid of sparks. So wanted panels now are, X2 inner wings both sides, LH floor well and boot floor. They are all fairly expensive with me only earning £10.59 a week + £5 field money so £15.59. Got to get savin. I have decided (all be it a little early to do celeste blue car with same colour wheels with chrome wheel caps. You may disagree. I think it will look different and personal to me. Also got an engine + gearbox 4 sale if anyones interested. Let me know. Thanks all and more update on mi car comin up soon. Regards Tom

Chassis was replaced in 1998 but it is not gali or like the original. Its seriously strong. I will re-paint it eventually but been warned its horrible. Good good. More dirt and oil! Wooo Get my hands dirty. Love it.
