A future project might be replacing the speedo and fuel guage, there's a spare in the shed. At the moment though it doesn't fit into the 'what's needed for MoT' mantra. It'll come under the 'while girlfriends at uni' project list

This was a huge mistake. We could've told you that... " thanks i geuss sam i had 2 dash's so i could simply swap, i love the dash ive got, and the painted speedo surround if you want to do it, then do it, take your time, and while your there fix the soldered ends and anything else, do it once do it properly

Re: Belgian built 1969 AK350 'Hetty'
I have a problem with my speedos... The replacement reads in MPH. Will my length of cable fit? On the plus side the fuel tank gauge actually has proper connections. Also, 'the zit' on the dash - what's it do. There's a bulb in there but it never comes on When's it supposed to come on? Ill change the bulb and see if that makes a difference. And why is it so... HUGE?

I'd imagine the speedo will be miles out. Mine is.

You'd be better off wiring it up as an oil pressure light.
