I like it mate. I didn't realise that some Amis had 2CV style tail lights until recently - I thought they were all in the wings.

Actually bertie, some 2cvs had ami style tail lights.

Well, at least, they were fitted to Amis first! Ami8 had them in the wings, all ami6 had them on the back panel, although some were the earlier 'yoghurt pot' style.

Post Re: 1967 Ami6 Break
I put a set of turned arms on the front last night, sadly this has shown up a few more problems I was unaware of. The crossbox flange is broken, and I don't think I have one. Having seen the track rod adjusters on simons race car I'm very tempted to get a set, I've never really liked the standard ones. It was getting late last night and I never finished adjusting them, I think I might be better off just binning them and buying nice ones. It's very hard to adjust on an Ami with the wings on. I'm going to need to adjust the brakes too while it's off the road, they were shite 10,000 miles ago, so you can imagine what they are like now. The manifold leak is really annoying me now and it started playing up in the rain last week, so it's well overdue a bit of love. I'm getting increasingly worried about whether I'll have enough time to finish it before the French national!

Good lookin' Ami. Nice work.

My Ami had the same problem with the engine.
