The covers were made by a company in Cardiff.They werent cheap,but when you open the doors you get a lovely waft of leather

O/T, but riveting nonetheless: modern car manufacturers are obsessed with "perceived quality". Knowing that people in western societies love the smell of leather, and associate it with posh luxury, some manufacturers (Lexus being the one that I know about) even include a canister, located under the seats, that gives a quick squirt of leather scent to keep that great smell of skin in the cabin, long after the natural smell fades.
Customers in the far east don't like the smell, so the canister is not included in cars manufactured for the eastern markets.
Back on topic: very impressed with the car. Think the dash looks great.

With two cracking cars AND a van, how do you decide which to use? That is a rather nice problem to have though

Thank you all for your kind comments.I know the car is not to everyones taste,but it is what I wanted to do when I bought the car.I love it. Ben,the D*lly will be sold when the van is finished.  That will be a sad day
