Just realised I know only marginally more than f***all about bodywork, so I will google "swaging machine", "bread roller" and "brake press" when I get home. ;)

Unless you're hungry of course

 Actually, I was hungry at the time I posted. Freudian!

Right now, I getting a feeling I haven't had since school: you know, the one where you haven't got an effin' clue what's being said by the bigger, cooler lads who know what's what, so you go along with it cos you think it's right... and then all the cool kids laugh at you cos you shouldn't have gone along with it... so I'm going to say NOTHING! ;)

Welded on the spare wheel mounting.
Needed a nice round shape and ended up with a stainless steel mixing bowl  Does the job tho and gives me enough room underneath for the K&N filter. 8-) ;)

Welded a stud on the top after, which sticks through the centre of the wheel and hold it on with a nut and washer.

Done some more on the rear end but the camera batteries went flat. Photos next time. ;)

is there realy enough space between the stainless steel mixing bowl and your air-intake rubber.... when you start your car or when you go from zero to full throttle your engine shakes a lot, try this first before you weld everything together........

Good point guys. The actual clearance is a little more than these photos as it was re positioned just before it was welded on, but i will check it tho. Thanks :) .
