I reckon you'd have to do all the bodywork below the top hat bit for it to look halfway decent. Looks better as it is though! Just painting the top hat section *might* look alright, if you've got a lot of black you want to use up!

I meant the whole of that rear panel below the side rail. Don't really know what to call them!

Re: Belgian built 1969 AK350 'Hetty'
Thanks Geert, I really like them.
I think I've found some proper sound proofing for the bulkhead. It's sold by the same motor factor that mixed the paint for me.
It comes in strips 200mm x 500mm and you get 10 strips in a box at £13 a box. That seems reasonable so I'll try and pick some up one morning before work.
I need to get some new rubber on her as at least 2 of the tyres have badly cracked sidewalls. I have a set of Michelin ZXZ 145/80s (yes - lucky me!) on spare rims, but I need to make sure the rims are all clear of the king pins/hubs.
If not I'll switch them into the rims it's on at the moment, which are old style riveted rims.

I was thinking from rust on the seems, they look ok, but thought id check before I paint them and what not. It'll certainly be less faff if I can stick them straight on rather than move tyres/rims around. I love the 80 profile

Just the fronts in my opinion Sam. Given the fact you're colour blind I'm glad you'd noticed they were different! Looking very nice indeed. I doff my cap to you.
