Quit your whining. Itll be summer soon. ;)

I bloody hope so, I'll forget all the woes then until this time next year. Actually, at the end of September, I just shalln't bother taxing it and then I can't use it during the winter-that'll sort that problem out!

Mate, I'm sitting here thinking how glad I am I've got a nice winterproof car and how I can't be bothered with 2cvs at this time of year, scraping ice off the inside, never drying out, getting cold and wet every journey. But come the first few warm sunny days in spring I'll be the first person to sack off my 'normal' car and roll my roof back...

That's the other thing, I can't even roll the roof back (without a tin opener) when the sun arrives.

Doh!

I'm plucking up the courage to spend some money so there's an imminent danger of an order reaching Uncle Roy for a set of piston rings and possibly even a braided oil feed pipe.........................

Time has come to get her ready for the (slightly) warmer weather. 8-)

Is the racer running a normal alternator Jon?

Why not get one of those 12v car heaters to pop in and make the racer driveable in cold stuff?

One of these maybe....

Sod the heat now, I'm giving up on that excuse for not using it and just gonna get it running properly-as it is, you can turn the engine over with your index finger and a 1/4 drive ratchet!
