Rob Something I was introduced to by a friendly MOT man, was Seam Sealer. Not cheap, but more flexible than filler. Check if it's cellulose based and what is under/over. This does need to be applied externally, as opposed to beer, which can be enjoyed internally. Enjoy .... I'll just put up with my cider then, shall I ...

Thanks Rog., I've used it on the van and the 2cv before and it's very good. I've used 3M stuff before but I may try something different this time. Oh i've got cider as well...as well as Gin etc. .

It's a public holiday over here so what better way to spend it . P1030351 by Robndaisy, on Flickr Lefthand rear, oh dear, P1030352 by Robndaisy, on Flickr ok, P1030355 by Robndaisy, on Flickr Someone's repaired it, P1030357 by Robndaisy, on Flickr Wow! gas welding, that's rare these days but back then... P1030358 by Robndaisy, on Flickr spotweld 4 layers together and mature since 1980. Considering that the 4 pieces add up to about 3.5 mm. when new, it's expansion over time has been quite dramatic . P1030361 by Robndaisy, on Flickr Ordered repair C posts and began prepping up for the sill repair. P1030348 by Robndaisy, on Flickr I left the windscreen repair like this for now, fun with bodyfiller later...much later . P1030356 by Robndaisy, on Flickr If I sit there long enough, drinking tea, it may repair itself.
