Isn't the whole point of acoustic cloth that it's effective transparent to sound, allowing it to pass through relatively unhindered, hence why it's used for trimming speaker boxes, parcel shelfs etc?

I learnt a lot this weekend. The secret to good paint work is thin thin THIN!! Despite being useless in an accident, 2cv bumpers are heftily attached to the chassis. The bumper fitting kit that ecas sells is great. Don't sit in the back of a van on a hot day with the doors closed using acetone and synthetic paint. It gives you quite a headache! I just can't wait to get her on the road now, she drives so beautifully. I'm really enjoying this process of getting her there though it's really rewarding. Fitting the carpet inside was particularly nice as it made the cabin really homely and nice

One thing I learnt too is thin layers of paint not one big thick one

Cheers everyone  it's great go see her coming together! Yep front wings are staying black. Considering doing the rear 'wings' black too. Any thoughts?
