Water based gloss or satin synthetic in light grey, red, blue, grn, black or white. It's alright too I've used it before.

Should a water based paint be used on metal?

As most cars are painted with it from new, I don't see why not.

It'll be fine It should brighten up the interior too. A load of stuff came from ecas today (ordered yesterday so pretty impressed!). Tonight I'm going to repair the old pancake filter that came with the van. It's proving tricky finding a proper replacement so I'll repair the old one until something better comes along. I found some fireproof, waterproof, synthetic fiber stuff at work so I'll use that for the filter.

That isn't sound proofing, that's the sort of black felt you put on the outside of a subwoofer box.

I wanted it cheap in case Hetty leaks and I needed to remove it. I figured at that price, if it's good - awesome it was only £3 a meter!! If it turns out to be rubbish - no matter, it was only £3 a meter!!
