 Re: My old Blue Bamboo
I have the answer, you will clearly be bored when its gone and frustrated and wish you had a 2CV.....and would love to do the whole thing again. I have a tatty Bamboo !.....we can just do a swap and give you another project....you can do it all again. I will be happy and so will you

 Re: My old Blue Bamboo
I've done all the second chance offering to no avail. It seems if they don't actually win the car first time then they don't want it any more. What an odd world we live in. I'm currently suffering the mother of all hangovers, but will wheel out the car and take fresh photo's after I've had this brew, then list it again tonight to see what happens.

 Re: My old Blue Bamboo
Just curious, but why eBay, if it's full of people who want the "bidding-fun" more than the car?
Why not a regular add somewhere like the British equivalent of Leboncoin. A picture, a text, a price. First with the money gets it. Easy peasy?

I suppose that in theory ebay is quicker than waiting around for a buyer, but if there's any more silliness on ebay this time then that's what I'll do. There are plenty of places to put a classified ad I suppose.

 Re: My old Blue Bamboo
I would pace an ad on E bay and an other internet sellingplace at the same time. First one to bid a proper price, first one to have the car . http://www.vivastreet.co.uk/http://uk.autoblog.com/category/buying-and-selling/

 Re: My old Blue Bamboo
Best of luck with the re-sale, Old Nail. I'm sorry you've had such a bad eBay experience. I was lucky with my recent Mehari sale (the first time I've sold on eBay), but in the past I've sold a few 2cvs on this site - http://www.2cvtv.com/forsale.htm - and have usually found the cars to have sold quite quickly, and always to decent, honest people.
