Have had major grieve of one thing or another, this morning(sorting out the tax for the Fabia and trying to get my printer to work, to print off my booking form for ferry) but I'm now all booked up and ready to rock & roll......Back here, week Friday

Ok, not a full week in France, as hoped, but just 4days...But I did manage to get to the Alsace Club's 2cv Museum(and bag a tee-shirt ) The one club member that had fought his way there, with studded tyres, was amazed I'd done it with normal road rubber I gave the Mulhouse Auto Museum a miss and I was informed I can't go to Germany on normal road tyres in snowy conditions(it's illegal!!). As the weather conditions were worsening by the hour and the forecast was snow all week, I decided to make tracks for home.(also, I'm not feeling too great, got a nasty cough that's making me feel crap ....Oh, I also fell down some steps and properly hurt my derrière
). Had a lovely drive up through France, yesterday, the sun was out and it was perfect

Link works fine. Some amazing vehicles in that little museum. Just love the tracked mehari!

Forgot to mention, the d'hotel I stayed at, in Metz, had a lovely white Special parked outside. Turned out to be owned by the hotel's manager Didn't get to speak about it though, I was driving off the carpark when I noticed him getting something out the boot.

I know it's winter, but even when in France in summer, I rarely see many 2cvs, a sad situation

Been down to the Big Pit mining museum, today. Was a brilliant way to spend a day, good fun. When I surfaced, the 2cv had a crowd round it, looking all round it and inside and taking lots of photos....Quite funny really, but Cool!

Had a run out to Bristol,last night(ARTists pub meet). Whem I returned home, I noticed the Nav. had a funny turn and quoted the 2cv had hit a max speed of 186mph(299kmh)

Was out in the 2cv, this afternoon and I saw a white Special on Whittington roundabout, near junction 7 M5, it looked to have a black or blue and white stripey hood.....Somebody from this forum? 'fess up, if so
