 Re: Slamboo (again)
It will in all probability remain just as it is, certainly for the summer now. It may well get a makeover if I change my mind and hang on to it. Plans for now consist of plastering the bootlid in stupid stickers, and driving the bollocks off it.

I had a couple of Avengers back in the 80's, they were BRILLIANT cars for their time, would run rings round the equivalent Marinas/Cortinas back then.

 Re: Slamboo (again)
Russ you must have gigantic bollocks to drive that thing all the way to Spa and back. Stourbridge and back is about all my mechanical sympathy will allow me to do.
I can't be arsed with all this scanning the road for bumps then wincing as I drive over them.....and I can't even get it onto the village shops car park.
It's tragic because I LOVE the way it looks, and the reaction it gets. But if it's going to continue to justify the drive space it's currently occupying, I need to be able to use it more than I am. So it either needs to come up a bit, or be passed into the hands of someone who can live with it the way it is.

 Re: Slamboo (again)
If you're gonna raise it, I'll swap you a stock set of springs for the low ones it has plus a little bit of folding if you want?

 Re: Slamboo (again)
no worries, good luck with that, from what I recall it's almost as high as it'll go...
