St.Marc is also a great product in the US cleaner. I use it always in combination with hot water in the US for clock parts.

 Re: AZL 1957
My lockable fuel cap like that on the picture came apart in my hands. The rivets that hold the lock ring to the cover gave way. I tried to rerivet them but it didn't hold. So i drilled in the rivets and tapped M3 in there. I screwed it back together with some locktite. Hope it hold now.

 Re: AZL 1957
New problem after rebuilding all parts on the car the choke have become very heavy to use. So this evening i got the whole cable out. Took it apart and when i blow trough the outer cable a lot of dust came out. The inner cable was worn in little dimples. Made by the outer cable over the years. So i did rub it down with sand paper. A bit of grease and all put in again. I can move the choke with 2 fingers now.

 Re: AZL 1957
Thanks. It had a little play on the king pivots. Horizontally ??? Never seen that, normally it's vertically. The lower hole seems to be a bit oval front to rear...

 Re: AZL 1957
Bought this mouthpiece for my grease gun. It clicks on and there is no leaking grease at the nipple. Works well. only the blue tube is a bit stiff. I used my old one in rubber.

https://www.ebay.de/itm/134977048851this is only one you have to check out the lowest price. I payed 8,50. There are dozens of offers. If it might interest someone an other picture off the 2cvs underside at the MOT. Nice dangling wheels.
