 Re: Bamboo my 87'
Fritz, to clear up any misconceptions; it's a modification intended for use in any (later) A series gearbox, not just for racing. Also, one of the folk you've mentioned took the time and trouble to work out the modification, including road-testing it, whereas the other person simply copied it... fritz wrote: I'd thoroughly recommend the 2cv racer mod with the seal on the shaft - the problem with mine at first was the gearbox oil was working its way up and out onto the clutch.. This happened on the first drive and ruined the clutch. I think Mr Pembro or Ken came up with this?

Paha, cheers Harley... I'll take that. 'go fast, look good' our company motto... Ahh well... my MOT garage love it, so no problems there, insurance wise... I told them what it had fitted and ended up getting a £30 refund - not sure how that worked, tax wise it is in the same band... no problems! Incidentally it was your car that prompted me to get the sandy coloured roof - though it looked awesome and much fresher than the black one I had previously.

Quite a few changes over winter, although sadly not a supercharger/compressor.. yet! Yes to 300% stiffer springs and a Quaife ATB LSD, otherwise just tweaking, oil cooling, etc Are you on Facebook? If so then go and have a look at the "immersion eleven" Facebook page for photos, videos etc. 25,000 people have watched the short film we took at the Bugatti Owners Club - La Vie en Bleu.
