Toureag Trail- Help sponsor a car!
Some of you guys may know Rich Hollis and/or Eleanor Chubb, well in a week from now they are heading off to Africa as part of the Toureag Trail 2cv raid. They have given us the chance to put our website name on thier car if our members (you!) can raise enough money.
The Toureag Trail is a drive in which they will travel for one month from Brussels (Belgium), across France, Morocco, Mauritania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Togo and finish by the coast of Benin. Accompanied by 24 other Citroen 2CV's, they set off on October 31st and reach the finish by November 29th.
They are doing the run in aid of the motor nuerone disease assosciation, a disease which is close to Richards heart as sadly his mum is a sufferer.
I'm not so bothered about the sponsorship as I am supporting thier venture, and helping their cause, if you guys can help chip in whatever you can, it'd all be a big help. There's no minimun donation, but if you can each spare a few quid towards it you can be assured that you're helping a worthy cause.
You can donate via the 'just giving' website, the link to Richard and Eleanors page is at the bottom of this post.
This is thier official website, detailing their plans and route, and with links to the preparation of thier car photos, and their chosen charity:
