Post Engine cleaner suggestion please
Alright. I use this aerosol stuff from Romac thats brake and carb cleaner but its only paint can size and about £4 a can and it doesnt go very far but its very good! It must be some sort of solvent in it as it stinks and feels cold on your hands and self dries... would tell you what it is but i cant remember and i binned the last tin.

I am after somthing that comes in fairly large quantity and is GVFM that i can put in a garden sprayer type bottle for that bit of extra spray power... anyone got any recommendations?

Cheers

TIM

when i do mine i use either 'Jizer' or 'Gunk' - always found them to be pretty good. Spray on work it in with a brush and rinse off with clean water. easy!

4 quid a can! this stuff is easy to use, available in large tins (think they do a 5 ltr job in the local motor factors). It aint exactly taxing to use!

Brake cleaner should get it done. I have a manual pump spary thingywhich means you can blast away to your hearts content - get a 5ltr can from a factors and fill away.

I've got a few cans of Citroen LHS2.
Not only will it shift dirt, it'll take paint clean off to the metal in one quick application.
Fuckin' lethal stuff.

I've always used Gunk and a jet-wash type power hose!

I usually use petrol personally, it may be expensive but it's a damn sight cheaper than anything in an aerosol can. Heating oil is equally good, doesn't evaporate so fast, and is very cheap, especially if you know someone with a tank of it round the back of their house! We used to use it in our parts washer at work and never had any probs.

disclaimer; Anyone who spills petrol over themselves while smoking is a nob and deserves everything they get.
