Re: Interested in other cool old cars?
Quote: From the Retro rides show (fun was banned) - banned? why, is the RR event a bit strict and crappy? - I am planning on going to this year's RR meet despite it being MILES away for me. If it's all fun free then I might give it a miss...

Well, i wouldn't say it was that bad, but they weren't very forthcoming to arsing about. We got on the 'naughty list' because apparently somebody with a 2cv did a wheelspin on the wet grass.

In fairness it was the chumps in the Volvo/Ford Pop doing endless donuts in the top car park that got the Gaydon managment hot under the collar. Had it not been for that then I don't think for a minute anyone would have given two hoots about any hooning about on the camping field. I was way too pissed to drive, even on Sunday... This year's Gathering is down at the Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford where there's a nice sprint track for everyone to let off some steam.

I think you need to do a few more 2cv camps mate. and also, a track is good, but for real excitement you need to be towing a bonnet around a campsite, fairly sloshed. See you at the international
