Post subject:  Collision and 2CV written off ?

Last Sunday, my brother was involved in a collision between his 2CV and another car.
The other car pulled out of a side road without giving way.
My brother and his passenger escaped without injury.
So was the driver of the other car involved.
However, the 2CV was badly damaged.

Hi Geert can it be saved with an new body? Or is the chassis bend too?
Did send an MP to Boudewijn, didn't have a reaction yet. But he will have other things on his mind for the moment i presume..

Boudewijn is still sorting out things.
The car will be transported to Le Patron to assess the damage , and when the insurance has made an assessment of the damage Boudewijn will make a dicision how to go further.
I will inform him about your PM, but he is quite emotional about the accident. He needs some time to process everything.
He had this car for 19 years and was so happy driving it almost every day .

Yes i can imagine. I have my 2cv since 43 years. Don't know how to cope with a loss of it. Good luck.

I'm so very sorry for your unfortunate accident and hope you are all right.
In circumstances like these, human consideration is prioritized over any material loss.
Best of luck.
