Post subject: | French LEZ |
It's been almost 10 years since I last went abroad, and I know the world is a very different place today. I see France has introduced some of the harshest rules when it comes to Low Emission Zones, so can someone here give me advice on where I can't go in a 'Historic Vehicle'. I intend to take the little Morris Minor across La Manche in May to celebrate its 93rd 'birthday' which actually falls on the 11th April (it's likely to be too early in the year for some decent weather, hence waiting until May). |

As far as i know it are only several large cities that have LEZ. You can register before you go there via internet normally. Oldtimers might be free. But registering is mandatory. Bonne chance. |

Thanks. Can I travel around the countryside without the need to register the car? I don't intend going into any cities or large towns. I've just received my new passport, with the previous one having expired in 2020, so I'm keen to get myself over to the continent in 2025... and in the little Morris too. I'll probably find it easier to get around in what will be a 93-year-old car next year, than in my 1989 2CV. |

Woah! 30,00€? I think not. Try this, the official French Govt. website: https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/ |
