I don't remember ever seeing any spam on this forum in the 15 years I've been a member. |

Spam gets added by new users. New users need to be approved. No one is doing that. |

Who hosts the forum? Any info? Is there a moderator? |

I don't feel at liberty to say who gave me permissions. I have administration rights, but only gained those to fix the advanced search. I did look at authenticating new users, but could not differentiate them between attacks and spam. At the end of a week, it had gained on me. At the end of the day, even though we have no new users, we do have a lot of knowledge stored. Peeps can search the database without being registered users. |

Sadly, our monthly gatherings have been rather short on new and/or interesting stuff recently, otherwise I'd be posting pics here. Hopefully as it gets warmer things will pick up. I don't do Faceache but check back here daily, usually. I'd be a great shame if this unique resourse dies due to lack of support. |

I'm posting this via my mobile phone which is clearly able to access the website, but my laptop has only been showing a "HTTP Response Code: 403" page for the last few days. That's gobbledygook to me. |
