How Fast Do You Drive In Yours
I'm just wondering, I tended to drive mine absolutely flat out everywhere unless it's not warmed up yet. Do we all do that?
These days I allow a not completely flat out speed on long journeys, GPS tells me I'm mostly keeping to about 63mph.
Tonight coming back from Kent to Reading, I seem to be rocketing past so many cars in my 2cv, so many people driving at 50mph for no apparent reason.
I've driven it flat out on monthly journeys to South Devon approximately 200 miles from here for many years, it seems to love it. Amazing how they put up with that so well.

Hardly ever over 80km/H. It's the best cruising speed i think seeing sound level and fuel consumption. But it did reach 120 some times.

I sat on the M5 from Exeter to Bristol on Monday, didn't drop below 72mph. Averaged 44mpg.

I know that road so well Sam.
When my car goes 'off the clock', it always goes really quiet. It always unnerves me so end up slowing down haha. It only ever seemed to do that when it was full of passengers though, maybe because its sitting lower!
