Re: Lack of posts...
It's the poor quality of modern fuel that is concerning me most. Petrol goes off very quickly these days.

I've just booked Saturday Night's ferry to Aberdeen Can't wait to get back behind the wheel of the 2CV Just hope the thing starts after sitting in the garage since it was last used on New Year's Day Hope the weather is fine, so you can drive it home with open top. Good thought to get it back now.

Re: Lack of posts...
Been very tired for some weeks. Hard to get the Series Landy ready for the MOT. Well, it have brakes and all lights working, no serious oil leaks and rust issues... Other cars, only driven them, early Dyane on short distance, early Range on longer and C8 when everyone on my family is on the road. Have not taken the Sm out yet, nor changed the other cyl head on P38 Range. Sm is maybe moving out from Finland, one seriously buyer is on, if he buy that then we have some more room on garage and some money to play with... A lot of plans is still on my head, that part didn't broke on couple of last hits. Want to buy the "Dr. Pepper Azuper" and make it back on the road, also 6x6 L-R has made a lot of scrathing my head. And also 4x4 Dyane transmission re-design, two ideas is on, one by using GS-transmission parts, and other by 2CV parts but with full time 4x4 with central diff. The 5 speed box is still on my "want to make" -list, but who knows... Almost too hard to have text on screen, the verbal work has became much more difficult after last hit. Still daily read almost all topics here too, want to write more but starting the writing is much harder... Please make more topics of Your projects, it is fun to read any kind of hassling with these little cars. And drive on them, they like vhen they are driven reguraly..!

Well, due to "full lockdown" being eased a little here in Scotland, my chassis is now home so expect some more trials and tribulations as I try and screw everything back together (PS:Jasu, In my last job, I would travel to Espoo almost every month...Made it to Hameenleinna once... One time I had a meeting in Vaasa so decided to drive so I could, "see a bit of the country".....Sadly my planning was not so good, it was November, I picked up my hire car around 14:00, drove for a couple of hours along highways lined on both sides by tall trees. By 16:00 it was very dark and I still had 3 hours driving ahead .....I didn't see very much countryside !! )

Re: Lack of posts...
^Yes, it is "little bit dark" at november, and some more north sun doesn't rise until febryary. And at summer, the sun doesn't sink (now here, sun rises at 03.45 and sink about 23.00, not best for sleeping especially for kids) for some months... November is practically the worst time to see anything here, too dark, no snow yet but it is raining water a lot...
It is really another country, Espoo, Vaasa, Lapland, sometimes we forget that also. Travel some hundred kilometers, and nature is very different. This is very big country with not-so-much people... A lot of scenery without seeing anyone...
