Indeed after 40+y of A series . wont be selling my 1975 2cv
. (we will be both going to hell in a hand cart ), or a room in old folks home with a view of my designated parking space with my 2 2cv ,
my conundrum , thinking of buying a new “NEW” car , just as a daily winter runabout, being tighter than the preverbal ducks arse ,I had a look at the Dacia Sandero , read the reviews , decided to look them over . the base model £5.995 . if I wanted A/Con radio/ elec windows / central locking / spare wheel/ any other colour than white , it came to £8.100 , the sales man said what are you driving now I replied a 42 y old Citroen 2CV , he said nice, and went off to serve another possible customer to explain there are 2 plastic hand bag holders in the boot ,
made me think back , I laughed when Citroen introduced the Charleston version ,

I bought a winter hack/daily runabout today. It's another 2cv  Perfect. Why buy something that will only loose value, when you can buy something that is only going up?

Thanks all , indeed why spend £6k for a bsic daily run about. indeed my dead VauxOpal Agila was useful postman pat Mini MPV , yesterday bought a OBD1-2 code reader through the trade @ £ 19 .28 . it comfirmd it's
crankshaft positing sensor failure around£ 20, so it will live agan through
salt laden winter winter roads , while my 74 2cv dry stored like me will dream of summer tours, yes in our old age we are both wimps .
