There seems to be allot of missing trim items on my 2CV. Since there are no 2CVs around here for miles, I have to go by photos on the internet to see what my car is missing. On my car there are a bunch of holes in the pillar (inside) between the doors. Every time I reach for my seat belt I see them and wonder what is supposed to go there. So I finally remembered and did a Google search and discovered there is supposed to be a piece of rubber that runs up the pillar where the holes are. ![]() What's the purpose of this piece? Is it just decorative? The holes appear to be boogered up a bit so if that's the case, I may just get some of those plastic hole covers. |

It's supposed to stop children putting their fingers between the door and B-post, apparently. Plenty more dangerous areas for kids to hurt themselves on. I wouldn't worry about it. They are there on my 2CV, but only attached to the B-post, not the doors. http://www.ecas2cvparts.co.uk/soft-blac ... -1142.html |
