Post Chevronics in Hitchin, Hertfordshire
Just thought I'd let you guys know that I've found the Chevronic Centre in Hitchin, their website is www.chevroncs.co.uk.
I live near Stevenage and took my CHarlston to Steve Hills loast year for its MoT and service, and he did a fantastic job. Trouble is, he's in High Wycombe and that means the A1, M25 and M40 for me!
Chevronics are in Hitchin, just 6 miles away from me and I found them by complete fluke.
I looked everywhere for someone nearer to entrust with my Charleston and it was a cabbie who told me about them as he has his Picasso serviced there. They specialise in French cars and when I went there they had a few 2CVs (including a ripple bonnet ) and a couple of DSs'.
To cut a long story, flew through the MoT and Rob there done a fanastic job on the service. Their telephone number is 01462 731733 and I would heartfully recommend them!

I think a few of our UK members have had good experiences with Chevronics, thanks for the heads up!

I have dealt a fair bit with Rob and the Chevronics guys and can highly recommend them! I never saw their old place but when i went a month or so ago to the new place its amazing. The rear yard is full of goodies and interesting motors and there was a lovely Ami 8 in beige inside amongst a collection of parts and treasures!

I thought Steve had retired, anyway? Certainly his old house was demolished and replaced by a building site a good few months ago now.

Rob is a top bloke - and for those of with flat-fours, he's somebody you NEED to know.

When I went to Steve, he told me he spend a few wekks over here, back to France for a few weeks and then back here. That was last year and I hope he's still working over here and he done a great job for me and it'll be a shame to see such dedication go.
