HELLO = DOBRY' DEN dobree den

GOOD-BYE = NA SHLEDANOU nas-khledanow

HOW ARE YOU? = JAK SE MÁTE? jak se mahte

I UNDERSTAND. = ROZUMÍM. rozoomeem

Take photos of things(like a toilet, a beer, an ATM)on your phone and just show the appropriate shot to a local ;) They'll just point you in the right direction, jobs a good un. :lol:

I won't be going, but I used to live there. POZOR! on road signs is fairly self explanatory, means look out or attention.

The police are able to give you spot fines for all manner of traffic offences. They should issue you with a receipt for these. Most of them now speak some English so its hard to pretend you don't understand.

They also commonly accept bribes, you may be offered the chance to pay a lower penalty for which you don't get a receipt.

I would have thought you would know that phrase in most European languages
