They were simple, basic and well made and are still about today about 25+years on running on fairly original bodywork! genius little cars.
A few people I know have factory built March ST's which are compound charged (super and turbocharged) 960cc (MA09ERT) engines, crazy little things and the figaro's that go around are turbocharged versions of the one litre (MA10ET versus the MA10) engine the micra has got.
Trouble is once my generation get old and forget about them it'll probably be the nail in their coffin. There just isn't a large enough following, even over at the micra sports club most of the young'ens are just interested in the K12/Clio monstrosity!
