Post Re: What Else Do You Drive?
My everyday drive is a Lexus NX - very smooth if somewhat slightly anodyne drive - very economical for a 2.5l engine - 40mpg - she who must be obeyed has a Suzuki Swift Sport which is a cracking car to drive and bouncing the Rev counter off 7000rpm is highly intoxicating, my 87 Special which stays out in all weathers and the 66 Ami Break which is currently in Scoobasteves garage for the winter.

2013 VW Golf SE 1.4TSI DSG-7, & when I manage to get it up to Shetland in the coming months, a 1932 Morris Minor 2-Seater Tourer. The first fully assembled car to sell to Joe Public for the magic figure of £100.

Cars older then 50 years going to be MOT. free...

You lucky. We don't have that kind of law, only cars with "historical registery" are free, but they need to be practically better than they were new. Also those "historic vehicles" are needed to MOT in every other year and before 1960 every fourth year, all other than new cars every year. Now here is plan to have two year intervals to MOT, but that is not for older than 10 year old cars...

Every time I tell to someome I'm not happy to have all my cars MOT'd every year, I have been told to have historical registeration for my cars. And when I ask to look those cars again, most of them understand why I'm pissed off, no one of my cars will never have chance to have that historical registeration... Never...
