Post Road Tax 40yr rolling exemption
My 2cv was first registered 31 Jan 1975. Tax is due 30 Sept. I've just received the reminder. Can anyone tell me when the free road tax for 40 year old vehicles becomes effective for a car first registered on this date? I imagime that I will have to enquire at the DVLA but I guess this will be painful.
Cheers
Don

Details here. I think you will have to wait until April 2016.

And when Labour return to power they'll stop it rolling again, just like Gordon Bloody Brown did in 1998. Prick.

A small price to pay for a proper government that will nationalise the railways, public utilities etc and imprison all bankers.
