I use the 2cv Facebook group, but tbh it's a bit too 'D*lly club', and i2f is definitely better in many aspects. Russ has turned down offers of financial assistance in the past, perhaps under the impression donors would want some level of democracy in return.
I can understand that the enthusiasm to run the site has gone, and fair enough, I'm thankful to everyone involved for keeping it afloat so long.
If anyone is considering taking it on, I for one would be very grateful and I'm sure others would too. Also I'm pretty sure that financial assistance would be forthcoming if they needed it, I'd certainly think it was worthwhile to contribute.

A subscription of £10/£20 I am willing to pay.

We should be very happy with this diverse group.

Please continue

FYI.
A VW Forum for VANS, charges £10, they have many many users worldwide.
The owners sold the forum (Names email etc.. ) to Canadian company nowt to do with Cars for Mega bucks.

Restrictions were imposed plus its swamped with adverts and you can be banned.

I too think £10 is quite reasonable. It's quite a commitment having to look after something like this. Could it even be a voluntary contribution ? - I'm a bit of an idealist but I like to think there would be enough kind souls out there who think a tenner is a small price to pay for such a collection of accumulated wisdom - and a few laughs as well. Whilst I've not contributed much I have certainly gained a lot of useful stuff for which I'm grateful - I can't be the only on.

I would happily head the forum

I think it would need to be voluntary. No set amount.. £1 or 100!!
