Farknose what is doing on behind the scenes of this forum but given the chance i would like to support it financially. I am not posting much as i have relocated to the UK and had to leave my 2cv in Aus. Don't leave Russ your a great input here. http://www.international2cvfriends.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5702I don't know what facebook is, sounds like I'm better off without it! Harley

 Re: Forum finacial support
Whilst I appreciate the sentiment I'm afraid it's a bit more complicated than just needing money. I've only heard from one member so far with any intentions to try and continue with it and I think that says volumes about how relevant and needed a 2cv forum actually is nowadays.

Does the "cinquento" club jeopardise the good running of your fiat? If so, thanks for the warning!

Harley Everybody are famous for 20 min. This forum was great but time moves on. The need is no longer here. Look at FB 2cv group, very busy and somewhat similar to this. Grow up Harley, money won't fix everything. BTW get yourself a set of wheels, wil'ya

When Facebook sells your details to all and sundry you'll change your mind. I'll happily donate for the running of the forum if that is what is needed.

 Re: Forum finacial support
As I understand from Russel theres much more involved then money. It seems that the website name holder doesn't cooperate much (after a week he didn't even read my message) and Russel is only good enough to pay the bills for the past few years.. So if the domainholder doesn't sell the domain to somebody who wants to continue the website and the bills don't get paid the site wil be out of order soon... and afterwards for sale again (by the host)...
I think theres an existance for this site ( English language 2cv forum) but maybee the admins from the first hour are getting a littlebit tired by now....

What details? Maybe You don't know but facebook is allowed to use your pictures You post for there benefit as is your browser history; name;birthday; occupation; interest; and sell all this for money to anybody who is willing to pay for it.. P.s. This is only the beginning. Everything You will buy from a website they will know aso.. This goes far beyond your imagination. Think about friends and family you mention on facebook.... So not good at all........
