Hope it is ok to ask about this here on this forum. At least it IS 2CV-related.

I want to go visit St.Petersburg with my 2CV this summer. I will drive from Finland, to St.Petersburg. Stay there one or maybe two nights, and then drive to Estonia.
I need to park the car somewhere secure. Like a camp-site or a Hotel with a safe car park.
The place I am going to stay at, need to be able to write me a "tourist voucher/invitation" to be used with my visa-application.

Anyone have advise for me about places to stay in St.Petersburg?
Do campsites offer those tourist invitations?
Anybody from Russia here? (Are there any 2CV's in russia at all?)

RegarDS, Eirik

Don't know for Petersburg and tourist pass etc., but there are 2cv in Russia. There were 1 o a few in Finland a couple of years back.

When I lived in Moscow in '93, one of the American lads we knew had a Charleston 2CV, now that must have been freezing in the winter, but he drove it all the time. (better than my piece of crap old Mercedes 200 D, that some russian sold me, forgetting to tell me the diesel freezes up every morning)

- check on the web for Invitation services, you might be able to pay for one. I have sent out invitations to a few Russians who wanted to come to France to train, then they buggered off somewhere else, so won't do it again.
