Post Toying with the idea of another A series
Having been invited to Prescott's celebration of all things French, La Vie en Bleu in May, I've more or less decided to sell my trusty Eunos and buy something slow and noisy which leaks water and corners on its doorhandles. I'd prefer an Ami 6 or a Dyane, and I can probably scrape together £1500 at a push, depending on what I can flog the Eunos for. Does anyone know of anything which doesn't require too much work, or (haven't worked out details yet) is anyone willing to maybe come with me on an expenses paid road trip to France to pick up something off Leboncoin?

Bloody excellent! Get another one!

Come and say hi at Prescott.

A few possible candidates I can find for sale in UK:

http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C575715 (quite tempted by this one but 3 A-series would be too many... wouldn't it....?)

 I never really bonded with it, for some reason. I don't know why ...
Thanks for all the replies, and offers of help. I suspect I'll be getting something already in the UK (having looked into ferry costs and all the rest of it) and I suspect I'll be putting myself further into debt in order to acquire that delicious LHD 1969 Dyane. Is there anyone near Bingley who could maybe go and have a look at it for me? http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C586985

Anyone know anything about this car? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-Ami-8 ... 3aa3b6b81f

Looks like the sort of thing I'm after, and it's reasonably local to me.

Well documented on the 2CVGB forum - although a lot of the pics are no longer showing...
