Hi all,

There's a small number of us who run and love Citroen's M4 engine. Spares and knowledge can be hard to find and therefore I'm going to keep an informal spreadsheet of names, email addresses and what we have.

If you're interested in being on the list please PM me or email sfieldhouse@me.com telling me what engines you have and what spares you could have available to fellow M4 users or just that you're willing to be contacted for advice on ye olde 602 engines.

Cheers,

Sam

Hi Sam,
I like them, I have an M4 too (in my ripple), but hardly any spares.
tbh I find an M4 not basically different for a "normal" 2cv engine. However, I am not an expert, just generally more or less handy, so maybe I am missing the point.
Anybody please feel free to can ask and I'll do my best to answer as good as possible.

Cheers, Bart

Well Sammybaby I have an M4 as you know, I would love to love it and have it in either of my cars. Unfortunately this love is unrequited :( I have whined about its intransigence elsewhere on this site so won't bore further here. If and when it will play (& I will love it) I will let you know the glad tidyings, if not I don't doubt it will find its way into your spares pile. Not aware of any bits for it amongst the heap of c... sorry, my spares collection.

I was thinking of fitting an M4 into me pony for that long stroke low down power
but not sure if it will pull me hybrid box?

Don't get too excited, it's been sat with water in it, siezed, and the crank & rods are a ball of rust. No manifolds or carb but has got starter motor, dynamo & distributer (no cap).
It is only still sat in the garage coz I've been to lazy to do a tip run.

Now don't all rush at once....

A Visa (running on 1-2-spark) has the same symptomes....."long stroke low down"
