Re: With or with out hub caps?
i think they look nice on yours. I used to love hub caps on all 2cv's - although lately if the wheels are immaculate i'm liking bare wheels more & more. The only trouble with hub caps on new or freshly repainted wheels is that if you do decide to take them off you're left with marks where they've dug in.

The modern ones like that are only useful for frisbees, but find a set of old ones and you're laughing!

I think single-colour specials look better with them off. (I think black is an exception to that though).

I'm toying with the idea of gloss black for my wheels, keeping the hubcaps and blacking the tyres in a nostalgia-rod style. Actually, if mine ends up red oxided..........

Re: With or with out hub caps?
Depends what's underneath... If you plug the centre hole and use domed wheel nuts, then it would look good, but otherwise it looks a bit like they've just been missed off.

I like em - bling! Still not sure about GS trims though. Had them on an acad once. Now they're languishing in the lock up.
