I think Citroen got it pretty much bang on with the originals. That said, I prefer off on 2cvs unless it's a charlie or D*lly. A dyane, however, looks much better on than off.

Off, IMO. With long domed wheelnuts, or with the small wheelnuts but with the little black pastic caps over them (at least some way into the 80s, Clubs came new with domed nuts and no hubcaps, whereas Specials had the smaller "hubcap" wheelnuts, but without hubcaps, and Citroen put these little black plastic caps over the wheelnuts instead).

Full-width/GS trims do look good, but again only on saloons imo.

I love Dyane 4's without wheel trims too!

Agreed. Vans with wheel trims are more wrong than TIMMY hanging around a girls school.
