It's clever stuff, this 3D printing mullarkey, but it's not all plastic guns and cutting-edge objets d'art.

If you manage to break one (or both!) of those plastic headlight retaining arms on your Ami then how about a pair of new arms hot off the printer?

I wish I did have this sort of talent!

I found these on sculpteo via a mention on the (now dead) french Ami club forum.

My drawing mate and i are thinking about 3D printing for all sorts of jobs,
Cyclone for the sand blaster and
Possible test case is for the new GSA diff (before i get a mould made for the Ali casting)
That way i could iron out any issues for the mounting brackets / brake caliper fitting etc
possibly saving lots of time

i hope to go to a firm in UK in 2 weeks to check them out for commercial use,
but i am thinking in excess of 3000 pounds for a commercial quality printer.
Ahhh

I'd recommend http://www.3trpd.co.uk, it's not cheap but it's good quality.
I can produce the CAD model(s) if anyone needs, if you can provide a sketch or its a part I have and can measure. Then you can send it to the above for a free quote.
