I think Mike swapped it for twofiftyAZU's old AZU which had found it's way to the Oxford Abattoir.

Hi There

I'm interested to hear abotu this Ami if anyone is in contact with the owner......had this car for 3 or 4 years but let it go after a prang....

It was in need a a good restoration really but I'd be happy if it was still pootling about as is??

anyone know anything?

Looks like it's been spotted. Someone on Facebook's 'Friends of 2CVGB' page *may* have seen it yesterday in Colliers Wood, South West London, piloted by a young woman...

The number tentatively given don't exist, so hopefully it was misread & it is it - tho it is now out of tax according to the DVLA...

There are still people out there that assume tax exempt means they needn't bother with a disc...

Post Re: Ami 6 - NDV 238F
Funny isn't it, when I first discovered it was for sale (two years ago!) I was desperate to get my hands on it as I regretted selling my red one. As soon as I bought it I realised it wasn't for me, it felt like somebody else's car whereas my red 6 break always felt like mine, it was my little adventure buying it and doing all the little bits to it. I couldn't wait to get rid of the grey one and was glad to see the back of it in all honesty.

Then, having seen those pictures of it, and currently not having an A series on the road, and I suppose with the passing of time I must admit I wouldn't mind getting my hands on it again...

It looks tidy in the pics but I know what was lurking, it don't look tidy enuff to have been done.
I certainly enjoyed it but was glad to see the back of it coz of the work it was/is gonna need

Was it really that bad?

Funnily enough, I wouldn't want the red one back now. I'd quite like another though, or preferably an 8 break.

You should start a thread on that van of yours, Mike.
