2m of acrylic canvas off ebay and the excellent "how I did it" thread on here

Buy a Matt's roof

Buy a vynil roof and ask the question again in a couple of years

Ditto all above, I made my own using 3m of the boat canvas, which has left enough to make a sun shade for when the roof is back and a cover to go over the rolled up roof, both yet to be made :-)

I used a bicycle inner tube repair patch on my first roof - lasted a couple of months before I could afford to replace the roof. And black on black isn't too noticeable either.

I'm sure you could superglue a patch on, but maybe a more flexible glue would be better? Evo stick or something. Why's the roof split? Is it old and shrunk or has it just been damaged? If its shrunk and very tight I think you might be fighting a loosing battle with it.

i was thinking evo stick with a cut piece of inner tube, the roof is good but got a split in it, perhaps something fell on it but is in good order otherwise, obviously it will be suck and see but was just wondering if anyone had done this before so i dont use a glue that eats the roof i also have a red and white D*lly with quite a stretched roof that i might be interested in a second hand roof if anyone has one for sale

Use a neoprene glue it wont eat you roof, super glue is to rigid and will more than likely cause another split, the neoprene glue is rubber based and very flexible, plus it sticks like sh** to a blanket :-)
