I'm looking to get my car moved on a flatbed (seeing as it has no MOT or panels, for that matter ![]() I've got a towbar on the Volvo, but I wonder if it might be cheaper to get it moved professionally (probably a lot less hassle too). I think there was a website that independant recovery people would quote from, but I can't find it.. ![]() |

Have a look and www.shiply.com It's a bit like eBay. You list the item you want transported, then people bid on the opportunity to do the job. It's free to list and you're under no obligation to accept any of the offers. |

Speak to 'Hollis' who's a member here, he lives in Northants, has a trailer for a 2cv and may be able to help you out. |

Thanks guys - shiply.com seems to have come up trumps. Looks like I'll be able to get the car down here and start work sooner than I (and the missus) thought ![]() |
