did anyone else get the text the other week going on about cheaper stuff from Europe 1 zones? I checked into it and i think we can text from Czech as of the 1st July for 10p a message... cant find the exact place on the orange site that confirms this but I have shown Suzanne and Will so they can back me up (i wasnt drunk dreaming it!) Prices look much better for calls and internet too! woop! Any other network providers doing the same? |

I got the text. I think Vodafone might be the cheapest, but I've not yet checked any of it out. |

thats the page * From 1 July 09 it will cost you 10.8p to send a text from your pay monthly phone within Europe zone 1, Ireland and the Channel Islands. However, in EEA countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein & Norway) from 1 July you will be charged 9p to send a text. |

if you log on the orange website or call them up you can change your package to there new animal ones, i got dolphin so i get free texts but with their Camel you get : "With Camel you can call people in other countries straight from your mobile from just 5p per minute. All UK calls are charged at 20p/minute and texts at 10p/message to anyone at any time of the day or night. Select this option to move onto Camel" |

Hmmm. Call me a Soppy old Camel, but 5p to overseas numbers is very,very cheap. Certainly can't get the hump with that cost
