Photographs on FB show the intrepid explorers relaxing in fairly opulent swimming pools, although other pictures do include large expanses of sandy stuff. ![]() Sean wrote: any news? how are they getting on? getting back in to Spain? |

Heard from Mum and Dad last night, all ok, another chassis damaged and a few minor issues, think they are all pretty pleased they have the bash plates, apparently they have taken a hammering. Other wise it seems they were all happy to find beer last night ![]() |

currently in Zagora heading north tomorrow, most of the off road stuff finished. 2 fuel pump failures one starter motor one suspension eye failure, one exhaust stud sheared off causing overheating in engine bay so brakes boiling, stripped down and sorted in an oasis in the sahara, one totally fubared crossbox and bent crossmember causing brake failure again fixed by moroccan garage making new crossbox out of bits of old one, one bent chassis having to be jigged a bit and strenthening plates welded on, a few puntures but all still mobile ![]() |

We are all pretty much back now, the odd few have stayed out there for a bit (the pensioners.) I will upload some pictures when I can. The drive home was a slog, with one car not making it all the way. Basically I could make it out there as a mechanic in Morocco. |
