I've just fitted a new alternator to C15 1.9 diesel engine. I need to tension the belt. Does anybody know how the belt tensioner is loosened? It appears to have a 26mm(?) spanner sized nut with one of those odd allen key type bolts (can't temeber thier name) in the centre of it (I have neither of the tools to investigate) Thanks in advance. |

Easy when you've got the tools! 50 Torx key to release, 27mm ring spanner to adjust/hold tensioner to desired position retighten Torx bolt. |
