I had a hard week at work and just for some mind numbing experience decided to spend some time getting up to date with today's cutting edge technologies without which a man cannot survive: I added the 2CV Directory to Facebook and Twitter.

So just in case you got nothing better to do as well, join as a Facebook fan, or become a twitting follower, here are the links:

Yep, that is our Charlie. I went to pick up some timber at the local hardware store and the guy there asked me whether I lost my grandfather clock (in reference to John Reynolds' book).

Also, the BBC had a 2cv with a Grandfather clock sticking out the back on the Antiques Roadshow credits,(was usurped by a Morris Minor convertable, coz the 'public' did'nt like a French car on a British show :o )

What did they expect? The average Antiques Roadshow viewer wears a twinset and pearls, smells of Steradent, sucks Werthers Originals and sits in a wingback upright chair....usually in a pool of their own pi*s.

Come to think of it, I watch it as well.........
:D
