 Route to I2CV Meeting Spain
Looking for informations regarding route through the Pyrenees heading from the south west corner of France. Hoping to find some spectacular scenery through the mountains crisscrossing if needed. I'm in no hurry and will stay away from freeways and the like. Anybody done this?

Come down by us, of the A64 at Montrejeau and head thru the tunnel in Veilha. Spectacular route to Lerida through the mountains.

If you have time Viking head a bit further south past Lourdes and you can crash with Twaly and I for a night. May need you to change some nappies and lend nipple if you've got one free. Your always welcome here!

If I was not going on holiday already, I would be coming along with you to Spain. We won't be around and before that we are riding across the Pyrenees. But I must say the route through Veilha and Lerida is very nice and gets you within spitting distance of the meeting. Lourdes is a little strange and I tend to avoid it if I can - we used to do bike tours there but the place scares us

I love weird places + would like to see as much as possible not getting there with a spit

Re: Route to I2CV Meeting Spain
I always leave it up to the individual to make their own minds up about Lourdes. Most come to the same conclusion. The whole area is fantastic (thats why we live here) and to climb some of these mountains in a 2CV will be great We have been up in the snow all week - hope it clears soon.
