They're the nearest people daft enough to consider buying it?

Those 2cv stretch limos were ok when there were only a few of them about and the joke was new. I remember one of the first attracting lots of attention at the 1994 International at Marlow. Then everyone started building them and it wasn't funny any more ...

Didn't Moto-Mek (the chassis people) have one on their stand? Whatever happened to them?

Am I right in thinking that's the same yellow POS that Ken utterly condemmed when it came to him for a service?

Nope,
but it's from the same stable and even worse than the one I saw, as there's so much more greenhouse glass to go flying when the thing falls apart or crashes.
Photographs 10 & 11 in that collection of colour glossies show the same detail at the front of the 'chassis', which confirms its origins.
I was so concerned about the other one that I telephoned a certain establishment in Kent, which had something to do with said creation managing to obtain an MOT.
However, they seemed to think I was being a bit silly as they'd found nothing to worry about when they'd worked on it.
Pretty sure they brought the stretched monstrosity to the (Inter)national when it was held in the Twickenham? area.

Madness, from start to finish...
